Well this fucking sucks. I saw Soundgarden back in 92 I think, on the BadMotorFinger tour. Best live gig I ever went to. The support were Corrosion Of Conformity, and after they'd played, a few of them joined some of Soundgarden to play a Black Flag cover before the main event. They called out for someone in the audience to get on stage and play bass with them, and a lad was duly selected. When they finished, he attempted to get back into the crowd but was hauled backstage. As we left the venue later, he was spotted slumped in the alleyway leading to the backstage door, west as sin but grinning madly. Fuck knows what they'd given him!
The combo of Kim's hypnotic downtuned guitar and Chris's amazing voice will for me always be the ultimate rock sound. RIP

Chris cornell solo on multiple occasions, last time was just a year ago in Vienna...
Travelled to fucking Berlin in 2012 to see Soundgarden at Zitadelle Spandau, then saw em on a local festival in 2014 again.
Would've literally given my left nut for a Temple of the Dog gig but I guess that's not gonna happen now.
