And... the world doesn't revolve around you. There are plenty of people who are famous in their own 'domain' despite not being personally ratified as such by yourself.

Imagine all the non-Brits throwing a fit every time when you guys post about some actor from your childhood in the UK dieing. Half the people mentioned here I've never heard of for example.

    This!

Imagine one of us Germans reported the death of Willi Herren a couple of days ago. A national celebrity (in the worst sense, IMHO), but totally irrelevant and unknown to any of you guys.

I have no clue who 3/4 of the dead Britongs are either. I also dont post dead Dutch celebs.

Because you wont have a clue who they are.

Post International celebs as dead not your local 89 year old footie

Tbh I find it quite interesting seeing the various analogues of different celebs which exist in different countries.

I'm sure Germany has a couple of Michael Barrymores and a Keith Chegwin.
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

Yepp. Not only Germany, I bet.

It became even more uniform when these talent and survival shows spread around the globe and started mass-producing clone-like "celebrities" in every country.

One person you'll all have heard of is Apollo 11 astronaut Michael Collins, who's died at the age of 90.
