It's not missing the point by looking at the situation as is and trying to look at the current context and talking about somewhat realistic solutions vs just screaming BURN IT ALL DOWN. It's just a different interpretation to what you want.
That said the one point he did get off was the bit about South Korea, since that market has since grown increasingly insane.
