Why is it called earth, when it is mostly water???
Schopenhauer:
All truth passes through three stages.
First, it is ridiculed.
Second, it is violently opposed.
Third, it is accepted as being self-evident..
Just finished watching the second season of "Warrior nun" which follows the slightly ridiculous plot of the first through other picturesque parts of Spain, continuing to be pretty cool Euro-Nun-Murder stuffed full of silliness.
Can recommend if you want some light-hearted fun. Avoid if you hate fun, of course.

The Last of Us renewed for Season 2
Why is it called earth, when it is mostly water???
After realizing - thanks to this threat, that Wednesday is an Addams Family spinoff, I watched it and can only join the choir of praise. When it first showed up on Netflix from its brief description, I thought this was some typical teen-in-boarding-school series. So I didn't even bother to look at it further.
Dee makes valid points, at least when it comes to how I feel about it. It's somehow surprisingly good though a lot of the characters, when looking at them in isolation, feel terrible (or actors lacking acting skills). Xavier, for example. Or that stereotypical "sum sum" nerd. It even didn't bother me that I could foresee who's the villain pretty early on.
Looking forward to the second season.
The two shows that I'm watching 'live' right now are so good. If you aren't watching Happy Valley and The Last of Us, you are missing out.
Bring tissues, though

I remember a Community thread 10 years ago, but couldn't find it. My wife and I have been watching Community as our gym show, amusing, not that big a deal if you miss some. We are finally on Season 5, and came up to Advanced Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, they referenced a prior D&D episode, we weren't sure if we remembered it. Further research revealed that Netflix pulled the episode from streaming, due to Chang blackfacing as a Drow. We felt dismayed at the state of the world, and ordered the episode on DVD (yes, I do Netflix DVD still for stuff I don't have on streaming). This has been a TV moment with Dorvil.
"Those who are skilled in combat do not become angered, those who are skilled at winning do not become afraid. Thus the wise win before they fight, while the ignorant fight to win." - Zhuge Liang
Actually as a player and GM I love that change, as it opens up so many more concepts and means the players aren't just picking the same few races with the perfect statlines each and every time. The races still have their identity and fluff completely intact, it is just easier to choose one you like as you aren't that hampered by the game mechanics.
Funny, I too did a re-watch recently (mostly as background noise tbh, just watched the best ones/parts). And I might be mixing this up but afaik it wasnt NetFlix that pulled it, it was Dan Harmon himself. It still a ridiculous over reaction tho.
And he is not alone, Always Sunny pulled several eps from streaming as well, they talk about it in their pod. Arguably those eps were more "problematic" but I still think it was just as dumb.
In other Community related stuff, last watch I found even more Easter eggs of references that havent hit until now (or I just didnt get it before :P ) as they basically hint of things outside the show that had not happened yet!
Most notably is Abed in last episode when he reveals he is leaving;
"I got a job as a PA on a Fox show, it's in a video game studio.
It's like 30 Rock, meets IT Crowd, meets, well me, I'm growin' up."
That is basically him saying he will go join Mythic Quest. 5 years before it airs.
So thats either incredibly meta or just an amazing coincidence. Either way, brilliant!
Probably not. I used to subscribe to Greencine, they had an amazing catalogue of arthouse and foreign films that Netflix didn't carry. I suspect it was subsidized by its sister business in porn distribution lol. Anyway, that company is long gone by now.
For streaming, maybe try Kanopy or Mubi.
