Application almost complete, I just need to dig my GCSE certificates out of storage.
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.
Are you going to get it in before the 29th then? I hear unis are actually waiting this year because of COVID so it's not a bad time for a late application for once.
I should manage to get it submitted by the 29th. I don't know whether this year will have higher demand due to deferred places or lower because of the ongoing covid shitshow. The admissions departments I've spoken to don't seem very sure either.

I hope I never get asked for proof of my GCSEs or A-levels again, I have no idea where they are!
Sweet. It's difficult to tell because of the fee changes for EU students, but anecdotally the non-domestic applicant numbers seem to be about the same (lack of EU students cancelled out by more applications from international applicants who can no longer apply to US universities due to COVID). I don't really know what's happening with domestic.
Hopefully by September restrictions will have been lifted enough for some semblance of a uni experience to return, though.
Just got a job offer as well with a contract that should run up to the start of any courses I get onto. Not particularly thrilled to be working in marketing again but it stops me haemorrhaging money at least

It is in the U.S. Most of the jobs I've had, low level or high, wanted "verification" of degree(s), i.e. bring the fucker in and let them make a copy of it/them.
Trust isn't really a thing.
Comrade Keckers, Director of Marketing?
Do what you got to do mate, much as it might blow. Good luck with the new position, hope it sucks less than it seems you think it might.

I'm surprised that you guys are surprised that Keckers worked/works in marketing. I thought y'all knew?
I mean it was venture capital related even.
