Since the old thread got BTFO'd, and the "Gun Rights" thread really is a bit too narrow to discuss the various forms of unrest… new USA Civil Unrest thread?
Obviously today's entry comes in the form of some dude who decided to remove his fingerprints before shooting up a small newspaper with a shotgun.
https://www.cbsnews.com/amp/news/ann...-live-updates/Two law enforcement sources tell CBS News the suspect used a shotgun, and a police spokesman described the weapon as a long gun. One law enforcement source says the suspect is a white male in his 20s and didn't have identification on him. The suspect is refusing to identify himself. The suspect damaged his fingertips in an effort to avoid identification, a law enforcement source tells CBS News.
I'm not presupposing political motive here, but it does suggest serious premeditation. I don't know how you damage your fingertips to hinder fingerprinting, but I have to assume he did it long enough before he started shooting that his hands had time to heal. This kind of undercuts the notion that that story re: Milo saying he can't wait until death squads start killing journalists was in any way a trigger, or even that the Maxine Waters "confront people" rhetoric was a trigger.
Or who knows, maybe it was just some dude who was high on enough drugs that he could burn off his fingerprints and then manage to wield a weapon semi-effectively.
