Is nobody capable of reading that tweet? They say the 10.50 is for the food as well as packing and distribution. I'm not saying it adds up, but at least criticise the right things.

Conclusion: there's a lot of money to be made from poverty.

Capitalists exploit sham democracy for profit
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

Well, isn't the brexit end-goal a captive poor workforce like in the Trumpland?

Give a man a fish and he can feed himself for a day. But give him one eighth of a fish, and you can keep the rest of the fish yourself.

I imagine that there's some fucking laughing going on, don't worry.

Never let an opportunity for outrage get in the way of facts...

I've no issues with these suppliers being held to account... but... these contracts were set up at short notice. Not suggesting anything about this is 'right' but if people are getting similar amounts of food next week it might be time to rev up the outrage bus.

    p.s. Buy shares in Yoplait...

They could have just kept with the 30 vouchers until they had an actual food package in place though...

The food companies lobbied hard against that

The 'food companies' who would have benefited from a voucher worth 30 instead of a private contractor paying 10.50 a week...

Is there a quick rundown somewhere of where all the money actually goes for free school meals?

Clearly they need to outsource that to a private contractor, only the invisible hand can cut through that red tape and give clarity.
