Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

Brexit going to plan.
It's astonishing how the Tories are simply allowed to get away with it, I knew we had a culture of client journalism but this is beyond farce

Ahmmmm, is this article exaggerrating or is UK descending into a police state? It seems they want to preemptive stop any kind of protests.

Does a population have informed consent when that population is not taught the inner workings of its monetary system, and then is drawn, all unknowing, into economic adventures?
Descending? They got half a million CCTV cameras in major cities, only India and China have more.

The MET and other police forces have been using facial recognition systems for a little while now that have been recorded as having as low as 16% accuracy (depending on lighting conditions etc) and the current Tory shower of shit are very forcefully pushing through as much ligislation as possible to make sure legitimate protest is quashed, but right leaning protest is given a pass. It has been concluded (by an indipendent investigation) that the MET is institutionally racist and has significant problems with internal process involving mysoginy and sexism.
Shitting up eve for .... well, longer than most of you scumbags.
Yeah, the UK is going full retard on this. XR and Just stop oil activists are stopped for simply walking on the street as a group. You know, doing normal demonstrations. In addition to this, some convictions of the environmental activists have been pretty harsh, up to three years: https://www.theguardian.com/environm...ossing-protest
Regarding sentencing, UK is not alone and Sweden is going the same route and convicting environmental activists of sabotage: https://www.expressen.se/nyheter/tol...-kaoset-pa-e4/
In most countries the police have a large influence on what types of demonstrations are allowed, but these laws allow the UK police to much more easily hinder the demonstrations they don't approve. The police use the same tactics elsewhere too, but they have less tools in their disposal. For example this spring I was questioned by the police for donating funds to a peaceful event organized by the XR Finland, who had all their permits in order and such. The argument of the police seemed to be that they wanted to see if my intention was not to support that particular peaceful event but instead support the demonstrations of the XR, which they could deem 'disruptive' or 'illegal' and use that argument to argue that the funds were actually collected for 'disruptive' or 'illegal' activity and thus confiscate the funds.

Hey, if they mess up my commute and block ambulances trying to get to where they need to go, I'm all for just tying them up and leaving them by the road. Bring back the pillory I say! It's minus 20 degrees outside you say? Well shiver me timbers then.
