So true, its amazing how many people I work with think that this is all Biden's fault in the US and blame the last stimulus on all of this (while conveniently forgetting the ones that happened with their guy). Also Biden flipped the "make gas expensive switch" on his first day of office and its all his fault >.>

I'm honestly not sure if this is satire or not.

Not loving your new degree huh?
The degree is excellent. Societal collapse after the failure of neoliberalism doesn't seem quite so fun though.
Look, the wages you withheld from the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of Hosts. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves for slaughter.

Honestly what use is a professional middle class if they have no capacity for discretionary spending?

Bit misleading given this only applies before you are working and thereafter its capped at RPI and doesnt really reflect what you repay

It isn't capped at RPI, that's the new loan system. If you attended uni between 2012 and 2022 you're being hung out to dry by the proposed changes

It's RPI+3% while in study, then after a few months post study it goes to RPI+0% to RPI+3% on a straight line basis depending on income. Those earning 30-40k repay the most (basically 9% of all income over salary cap for their entire working life) but the new 40 year repayment term that is coming in skews it further.

Tory MP caught watching porn in parliament, twice, claims he was searching for tractors, then resigns.

My favourite bit is when his wife blames the porn stars. "On the other hand it takes two to tango. There must be women posing for all this.”

i seem to remember seeing that he also took part in a press interview about the story, before the MP was identified.
