The Beard & Shaving thread

So I couldn't find a thread on this and decided to start one. Mandatory beard pics will come when I get home tonight. I've decided to grow a full beard from the short trimmed goatee I had going previously.

Not surprisingly the existing well-bearded areas of my face have rapidly grown and are nice and thick, the cheeks however are taking FOREVER to grow a good density.

Does anyone have some good tips on:

* Stimulating beard growth
* Opinions on beard oil and the sort
* Beard grooming in general

It's cause I shave that bit, I just haven't for a few days. The line where thick growth is is where I shave down to.

especially if you don't have a proper beard trimmer and are using a normal electric razor very very very very carefully.

I've binned 3 electrical shavers/trimmers a couple months ago, so much crap available..

Cut it down to a Braun shaver and a Phillips bodygroomer - which I also use for trimming.

Still prefer a wetshave though, but getting tired of the shitty mach XXX systemshaver heads.
One of these days I'll get a proper oldschool safety razer and silver tip badger brush.
There will be blood.
